Hi doctor,
My penis has some rashes on its head and near by skin. I do not have any pain or any other issues. But I am having itching. Can you suggest me what is the issue and what needs to be done?

Thank you for sharing photos (attachment removed to protect patient identity). This is candidal balanitis which is a kind of fungal infection. It can occur due to sexual contact, poor hygiene. Do not worry. It will resolve with treatment. Take tablet Fluconazole 150 mg once a week for two weeks, tablet Fexofenadine 180 mg one tablet daily at night for seven days. Apply Candid gold cream apply daily at night for three weeks. Do not use anything else like Dettol and all.
