Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 26 years old and have pain in left side of left chest just below the tit. When I touch that place, I feel nothing and it is numb there. When I sleep by keeping the face up I feel someone is pressing my heart and feel pain. When I hold that place and pull out, I feel relax. For four months, I am feeling too much pain when I eat any cold thing. The doctor examined me and said there is no heart problem and gave me Vaserol 20 mg but I did not feel any improvement. Then again I saw the doctor and after X-ray, he said the heart is okay but there is a problem in your chest muscles. He gave me a painkiller. I felt good but when I pulled heavy thing, I again felt pain in my chest and now it has been four months, I have not seen the doctor and have severe pain in chest moving from left to right, up to down. Also, before sleep at night, I am sweating too much.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Your symptoms do not seem to be related to any cardiac disorders. A lung disorder or acid reflux could be the cause of your complaints. For this reason, I recommend consulting with your attending physician and performing some tests. A chest X-ray study and pulmonary function tests, complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation, a fibrogastroscopy. If all these tests result are normal, you should consider anxiety as the main cause of your complaints.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
