Patient's Query

Hi docor,

Can I take Arjunarishta? I have high cholesterol and I am using Rozavel 5 mg.

Answered by Dr. Alka

Hello sir,

I just read your query. Arjunarishta is advised in conditions like high cholesterol level. As you have this problem, you can take it along with your current medicine. But keep some gap between your allopathic medicine and Arjunarishta. Arjunarishta is not advised in diabetic patients. So, if your sugar levels are controlled you can take it in the following dose. Take two tablespoons of Arjunarishta (Arjuna tvak, Dhataki pushpa, Madhuka pushpa) with an equal amount of water two times a day after food for one month.

Consult me or a nearby Ayurveda physician after one month regarding improvement and for further management. Hopefully, you will feel better results within a month.

The Probable causes

Poor eating habits and improper lifestyle.

Investigations to be done

Lipid profile test after one month.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
