Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

For the past few days, I have been feeling unwell, and feverish, with headache, and body weakness. Sometimes I was feeling bloated. I suspected malaria but when I checked it was negative, I was using tablets of Amoxicillin Clavulanate and Betaserc and ear drops for the past few days as I have a middle ear infection. Also, I just finished my period yesterday. I have done a full blood checkup as attached.

Kindly help me on this.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I have gone through the reports (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity). From the attached reports, this is only CBC (complete blood count) report. In this report, your hemoglobin is slightly less. It should be above 13. So your headache, body ache, and weakness can be due to low hemoglobin. Do you have more bleeding in menses? Are any multivitamin tablets taken? Please reply to me with answers to the above-asked questions so that I can guide you better.

Wish you good health.

Thanks.

Patient's Query

Hi

Thank you for the reply.

No, at the moment, I am not taking any multivitamins. Sometimes there occurs more bleeding but overall everything is fine. Before I used to take the tablet Vitacap but now I do not.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

In my opinion, you should take an iron-rich diet, multivitamin tablets, or syrup. Are you taking any hormonal pills for contraceptive measures?

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I will start having iron rich diet. No, I am not taking any hormonal pills for contraceptive measures.

Actually, I am not yet married nor have kids. Are any multivitamins preferred? Like a specific brand or name?

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

We give tablet Zincovit. It is good in all aspects.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Will you be able to get tablet Zincovit? Earlier which multivitamin tablets you were taking? Can you send me a picture of it? I see and let you know if it is appropriate or not. Are you taking healthy diet?

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

Yes, at the moment I was advised to take a healthy diet for allergic rhinitis. No beef, poultry, seafood, processed food, cold food, or oily food. I was using tablet Vitacap vitamins. I will try to find out if I can get a tablet Zincovit.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I have gone through the image from the attached reports (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity)

This is also good if you have it. Take it once a day after lunch or dinner. I am also an allergy specialist. If you want to ask anything about allergic rhinitis, you can.

I will be happy to help.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor I have got zincovit syrup the tablets ones are hard to find here. How many days I should take this to get well recovered. Also would like to ask about rhinitis. Doctors here asked me to have a diet of no sea food or poultry or beef. But can you advise me more, if there are any test I should do to get better results. Also which diet I should start with which won’t affect my blood level and minerals in body. This time I got middle ear infection which the doctor said the Eustachian tube was blocked due to allergies. They gave me nasal spray (Probeta-N, Fluticasone) also Betaserc as I was feeling vertigo and dizzy. Apart from that I have gastric problem since in past, any advise on diet as well good medicine for this. I’ve been using esomeprazole, Pantoprazole and sometimes antacid Relcer to cool down heartburn.

Thanks for your follow up question on icliniq. I can understand your concern. I have gone through the image you have attached. Yes, this is appropriate. You should start 5ml twice daily for 2 months. May I know price there? And for allergic rhinitis, you should get done serum IgE level. If it is raised, get done detailed allergy testing to identify the allergens causing the symptoms. Any reports done like IgE?

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
