Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 23-year-old female. For the last three days, I am having a burning sensation around the eyes but the eyes itself are not affected. I figured out it after taking a shower or after taking Lexa Pro. I was taking Sipralexa before, now I got Lexa Pro instead as I am in China and this is what the only thing they had. Could this be some type of allergy or should I be more concerend? I also feel pressure around my temples I do not know if that has something to do with it. The eyes itself are not red the skin is not swollen just the burning sensation that stays for around 6-8 hours then goes away.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern. It will be of great help if you can send me a picture of your eyes. Also, let me know if you have work which demands more laptop or computer or mobile use?

I do not think it is due to allergy because allergy causes redness and watering from eyes more. Please reply me with answers of above-asked questions so that I can guide you better.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I do use my phone quite a lot but I do not work on a computer. My first guess was the contradiction between the two medications or some allergy but I am not sure, I experienced it after waking up for two days. Yesterday I did not take my medication to check and today I woke up without the burning, as soon as I took the medication and went to take a shower it started again. I attached a file and mark up the area.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern. No, I do not think it is due to change in drugs. Possibility of maxillary sinusitis is more likely. Your symptoms also correlate with this.

You need to take antibiotics, painkillers, and anti-inflammatory drugs. Antihistamine drugs are also beneficial. Do steam inhalation four to five times a day.

Please let me know if you feel any cold or nose block. I will be happy to help you further.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
