Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have a scab-like sore surrounding my clitoris, and it is white, itchy, and sore. The opening of my vagina burns and is itchy and sore too, and has now started to itch on the skin between my anus and my vagina. I have been using external thrush cream, but it does not seem to be working at all. My clit is getting sorer each day and is causing a lot of discomfort during sex and everyday life.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I fully understand your concern and will surely help you. I have gone through the details and images shared by you (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity). Please share the following information about your condition to help me assess your condition better.

1. From when are you having this problem?

2. Any history of a similar problem in the past?

3. Any kind of discharge also if you are experiencing? Color?

4. Any odor?

Nevertheless, based on the details shared by you already, it appears to be a vaginal infection. Use Surfaz SN (Beclometasone, Neomycin, and Clotrimazole) cream locally. Use V-wash to clean the area. Keep the area dry. Use mild detergent for washing undergarments. Use cotton underwear. Avoid intense exercise. Wash the anal area towards your back and not towards the vagina. Use barrier contraceptives like a condom during intercourse. Start with the above medication and share the details as requested above so that I can assess why you are having this problem. Do not worry. There is nothing to panic about. Feel free to ask any questions or to share any additional information.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for your reply, doctor.

I have experienced thrush before but never this problem. My discharge is odorless, and the consistency is normal. I have had these symptoms for about a month now.
