Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Please review my CBC report.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern. According to your CBC (complete blood count) report (attachment removed to protect patient identity). Your RBC count is 5.34 million, and your vitamin D level is insufficient or below normal.

High red blood cell counts are considered anything above 5.4 million in women, which may be significant. RBC levels are above 5.4 million, and high Hb may indicate polycythemia. Your RBC count are slightly high or above normal, with normal Hb% indicate nothing any serious. You have no polycythemia.

Do not be worried at all, and most importantly, one blood test does not confirm anything. If two blood tests show something abnormal that is done concurrently, then the matter should be accepted. Otherwise, repeat your CBC report twice from two different investigation centers concurrently, match the two reports, and then take steps according to the abnormalities.

You should concern about your insufficient vitamin D level. Take vitamin D enriched foods and vitamin D supplements and prolonged exposure to the sunlight to increase the vitamin D levels.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I am a depressed patient, that is why my anxiety became high due to high RBC count.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I have already interpreted your CBC report. Try to reduce your anxiety and depression. Your CBC report does not confirm anything abnormal or underlying pathology for which you may become anxious or worried. If my first reply can reduce your anxiety, then I will become happy.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
