Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My husband is 46 years old and was diagnosed with diabetes last week. Is it true that people having diabetes are prone to other illnesses? If so, can I give him the tablet Zincovit to improve his immunity? Also, please suggest any other supplements that can work better for him. He is currently taking the tablet Amaryl 2 mg.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Diabetics are prone to heart, kidney, neurological issues, and eye problems, but if their sugar levels are controlled, the chances of other diseases are very low. Do not worry, and maintain his sugar levels. I suggest him to do weight loss exercises.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
