Hello doctor,

My wife is 38 years old, and I am 43 years old. We have been trying for 2nd child for the past few years now. Just this month, our doctor did a follicular study on my wife, and she said that the egg is released now, and you can either try the IUI method or natural. We opted for natural. Since egg life is 24 hours, shall we still try more natural sex this month or not? My sperm count is normal, with normal active sperm.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

If you want to try the natural method, I suggest you to follow a few things mentioned below. She should strictly keep checking thyroid levels as it can cause miscarriage and neurological abnormalities in the fetus. Have folic acid strictly daily, 0.4 mg. Daily walk and exercise with some recreational activity.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.
