I have been trying to get pregnant. Follicle checking has been done on the 10th day and three follicles were detected 19 cm, 14 mm, 13 mm, and endometrium development of 5.3 mm. On the 12th day 24.5 mm, 20 mm, 14.5 mm, and endometrium development of 6.2 mm remark triple line respectively. The doctor said the follicle with 24.5 mm will turn into a cyst but on the 14th day there is only two follicle cyst of 3.1 mm. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Kindly answer the following questions:

1. How long have you been trying for conception? Kindly attach the investigations, treatment, and medications records.

2. Have you been on Folic Acid 0.4 mg daily?

3. Do you have a history of recurrent miscarriage or any chronic disease like Epilepsy?

4. Kindly provide reports of complete treatment of any health issue you and your partner have.

5. Do you have any recreational activities but quit recreational drugs as these reduce fertility and cause congenital anomalies in the fetus that is the main cause of recurrent miscarriages?

6. Ultrasound is helping in follicular studies for fertility treatment but sometime, scan findings could be different for different sonographers means a different way of reporting and imagining scan views. It is not necessary to have the exact scan findings of two sonographers as they view and report according to their knowledge and experience. Sometimes machines and different views of pictures might give differences in reporting. Some follicles could not be seen properly in any of the scans. Try not to be confused and be positive.

7. Try to have a normal body mass index and weight through daily exercise and yoga.

8. Have sex in the fertile period of the cycle.

9. If IVF (in vitro fertilization) after full investigations and treatment have a positive mind and be positive.

10. Try not to overthink. I hope I cleared all your doubts.

Thank you.
