Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been facing constipation but got better after taking medicines. I took medicines only twice, and I am still curing, but I felt a little white, soft lump coming out of my anus while cleaning. Is my internal skin coming out because of straining harder, or is it something else? I have been facing constipation for 20 days. My stool moment got better, but the stool coming out is still hard, and I am straining hard to poop. Currently, I am taking Sodium Picosulfate oral solution twice daily.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern. I have gone through the detailed history you have given. This is mostly external hemorrhoids (piles). It will be of great help if you can send me a picture of your lump. No specific treatment is required at present except for constipation treatment. So drink plenty of fluids orally, take high fiber and diet and prevent constipation.

I hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. I wish you good health.

Thanks.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Is it only constipation only? Or should I take some other precautions? I am scared. I am attaching the picture below. The picture is taken from close, so the lump is not that big. Please recommend me some medicines as well. I have had constipation for more than 20 days. I have been dehydrated and not eating food properly as well. The medicines only made my stool moment a little better, but I am still straining hard to poop.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Thanks for your follow-up question. I have gone through the image you have attached, but the image is not clear (the attachment has been removed to protect the patient's identity). Hence, I cannot give an exact opinion, but it looks like external piles. There is no specific treatment required. Constipation needs to be treated, and it will resolve by itself. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated. Take a high-fiber diet and green vegetables. Avoid oily and spicy food. Avoid junk food. Avoid bread, apple, and pomegranates. Take more papaya. Go for walking after a meal, especially after dinner.

I hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further.

I wish you good health.

Thanks.
