Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have done the best test today and got the results. My findings are total cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL, VLDL are high, and hydroxyvitamin D is deficient.

Please review the attached report and kindly provide your consultation and guide me.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Your vitamin D is very low, and you need to take supplements like Vitamin D3 50000 units every week for at least three months. Then repeat your vitamin D and let me know if you need to continue or not. Vitamin D is abundant in sunlight, and in very few foods, but fish and eggs also have some vitamin D. Your lipids are also high, and your weight is above the normal values as well. So you need to control your diet and adopt a good hygiene lifestyle to bring your cholesterol down. For that, please take more vegetables and fruits. Eat more salad and fibers. No sugars and take less fats, especially butter and oils, along with cheese. You can take dry fruits and walk for 45 minutes a day every day. Drink more water and sleep well. Check your cholesterol and complete lipid profile after three months. If your cholesterol is still on the higher side, you may need to start some medication for it, but if you follow lifestyle modifications, you can bring it down without medication as well.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
