Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been experiencing mild to moderate pressure from the bottom of my right bum cheek to the middle of my leg and I cannot seem to put pressure on my right leg at all. Could you tell me what this is or could be? I am taking 50 mg of Sertraline for anxiety, Thiamine twice a day, and various other Vitamins. I cannot run, stretch, move in bed, straighten the leg fully, bend downwards, touch my toes, or do practically anything without there being a distressing pain from the hamstring (the top of it).

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your concern.

I would like to know if you ever had back pain or had a fall on your back. In my opinion, you should work a bit on back stability and core stability. I would like to recommend you to get a thorough investigation like an MRI lower back and hip, which will help you to exactly locate the source of symptoms as sometimes disc irritation and facet issues can produce similar symptoms. I recommend you to keep icing frequently. Stretch gently. Do stability exercises. Revert to me with full details of your problem.
