Hello doctor,

I experienced symptoms of COVID. I am not sure if it is only a mild symptom, but I think it is not. I had a fever, headache, body pain, and runny nose. The fever lasted for three days, but I still have body pain and cough. I am at home; I immediately isolated myself. What should I do next? I have a job and do not have proof that I need to be in quarantine.

Hi,

Welcome to the icliniq.com

Following is my opinion on your asked question. You have all the symptoms of COVID-19 infection. However, if the patient has a fever, sore throat, and body weakness, then immediately COVID testing by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) or rapid testing should be done. You must be put on Azithromycin antibiotics for five days and take Paracetamol twice daily. Isolate yourself for seven days. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with them and take medicines with their consent. Drink more water and more fruits. You will recover in the next four to five days mostly.

I hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Best regards.
