Cromoglicic acid is used in the management of asthma, allergic rhinitis, ulcerative colitis, and vernal keratoconjunctivitis. It is a mast cell stabilizer that blocks the release of inflammatory mediators of the mast cell. They rarely cause side effects like nausea, headache, and bitter taste sensation.
