What could be the reason for not being able to conceive even though my periods are regular?

I am 29 years old with regular periods and have a kid of 6 years old. I have been trying to conceive for four to five months, but no result. I am looking for a consultation regarding delayed conception.

I do not have any pain or cramps during the cycle and gained weight recently in the last three months, but active in sports. I am stressed because of delayed conception. The first conception was natural and normal vaginal delivery without any complications. No history of miscarriage or medically terminated pregnancy. Kindly help.
