Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I missed my period this month. It has already been a week since my last date. What to do as I have pain and cramps. Please advice.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through your history and understand your concerns. As per your description, these symptoms could be due to hormonal imbalance or could be due to pregnancy. In your pelvic ultrasound (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity), the endometrial thickness may be more due to early pregnancy, get your blood beta hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) level to rule out pregnancy. Also, get your thyroid profile and hemoglobin test done.

Feel free to ask for more information.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
