Hello doctor,
I am a 20-year-old female. I am late on my periods by 58 days. The bleeding started lightly today. Was it due to a miscarriage? I am also suffering from thyroid problems.
Kindly help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have gone through your query and will try to guide you. Have you done your urine pregnancy test? Sorry, to say, but I do not understand your concern. Are you saying, you are pregnant and took abortion pills so the bleeding started or you have menstruated for almost two months, and now there is slight bleeding? Want to know if it is of abortion? or something else? I Will try to answer according to what I understood. If you are not pregnant, then such a thing can happen in thyroid abnormality or PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome). As you are already suffering from hypothyroidism, you should also rule out PCOS, by doing a pelvic ultrasound. If you are pregnant then please do an ultrasound to rule out any ectopic pregnancy.
Hope this information helps.
You can reconnect for further queries.
Thank you.
