Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My expected period was at the end of last month, but till now, I have had no periods. I did a pregnancy test, and it was negative. How to know whether I am pregnant or not? Kindly suggest me a solution.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for contacting us. The cause of the delayed period may be due to stress, anemia, or thyroid dysfunction apart from pregnancy. I suggest you to get a complete blood count and a thyroid profile done. Also, get an ultrasound of your lower abdomen done and kindly get back with your reports. Pregnancy can be excluded. I hope this has helped you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
