Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I took an I-pill two months ago and experienced withdrawal bleeding seven days later. I then had Meprate 13 days ago twice a day for five days so the pills got over six days ago and since then my periods have not occurred. I had taken pregnancy tests in the last month-end which came out to be negative. I am really clueless about what to do. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through your case and I understand your concern. After stopping this tablet sometimes it might take 7 to 10 days to start bleeding. I would suggest wait for three more days and even if then you do not get periods then do a urine pregnancy test. The kit might show false results in the early days. I hope you are not taking these tablets on regular basis to induce menstruation, it will disturb your menstrual cycle. You should take proper treatment if you have issues with irregular periods. I hope this information helps you, for further queries you can reconnect.

Thank you.
