Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had a miscarriage a few months back. My period has been irregular since then. Why is my period delayed though I am not pregnant?

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query and understood your concern.

It is not uncommon for your menstrual cycle to be irregular or for your period to be late after a miscarriage. The small amount of blood discharge after your workout could be related to your period or may be due to other factors such as vaginal irritation or infection. If you are not pregnant and your period is still delayed, there are several possible reasons why this could be happening. These include stress, changes in weight, hormonal imbalances, thyroid problems, or other medical conditions. I would recommend keeping track of your menstrual cycle on a calendar and noting any changes or symptoms you experience.

I hope this has helped you.

Thanks and regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
