Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

There is severe pain in my root canal-treated front tooth for the past few days due to trauma. There is also some swelling in my upper lip. I am wearing a cap on the tooth. Will there be any problem with that tooth?

Please help.

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. I went through your query and understood your concern.

Yes, there seems to be either a fracture of the underlying tooth or there is some leakage because of the concussion. Now as per your history, it looks infected this time as you said there is swelling. I request you provide an image of the affected tooth along with your drug or allergic history for me to suggest anything further.

I hope this has helped you.

Thanks and regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
