Patient's Query

Hi,

My 1-year-old daughter fell and broke her tooth completely from the root. There was bleeding initially, but it stopped afterward. Is there anything to worry about? Will the permanent tooth grow early? Or will it take the normal time of 4 to 5 years?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

I am very sorry to learn the kid fell and broke her tooth.

I would like you to know that there is nothing to worry about since the bleeding stopped.

I suggest you apply an ice pack if you notice any swelling. If there is any swelling, kindly upload an image to me in reply.

The permanent tooth would erupt by six years of age. So, you have to wait patiently till then, and there is nothing serious to worry about, and no treatment is needed.

If the nearby tooth feels mobile, then it might need extraction too.

If no mobility is noticed, no treatment is needed.

If your child has pain, I suggest you give her syrup Ibuprofen one teaspoon twice daily for a week.

If you have any other queries or doubts, kindly feel free to reply.

If it is possible for you, upload an image of the affected area. I will help in every possible way.

Have a Good Day.

Thank you.
