Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I think I have been facing depression since the beginning of last year for a few weeks but I do not know if it was depression. I did not speak to anyone or do anything about it. Now there are hours, days, or even weeks where I just feel sad for no reason. What is this? How can it be helped? What will help to get rid of this problem?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

It must be tough for you. Not understanding what is happening is very difficult. I understand you have been experiencing sadness for quite some time. But have you been facing any major stress at work or any problems in your personal life to cause this sadness? Also along with sadness, is there anything else troubling you, like has your sleep and appetite reduced? Like has your sleep and appetite reduced? Do you feel more tired than usual? Have you lost interest in hobbies that you used to enjoy previously? If the answer to these is yes, then there is a chance that you have been going through depression. Medicines and therapy can help you, but I suggest you start medicines only if you have depression. Also, please get your vitamins B12 and D3 levels checked.

I hope this helps.

Regards.
