Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I ate some food cooked in a copper vessel. After that, I started to have loose motion and I went four times. What to do?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com. Eating food from copper vessels does not cause diarrhea. It is caused due to other causes such as allergic foods, toxic food, infection, or intake of spicy foods. You can consume buttermilk or curd with salt. Eat only curd rice and it helps to establish normal microflora in the intestine and it corrects diarrhea. You can also take lemon tea. Prepare this and drink for every fourth journey and your diarrhea will get relieved. Prepare curd and lemon tea at home. If you do not see improvement within a day, then you must take antibiotics after doing some laboratory tests. But I am sure that you may not require to go to this level and it will become alright within a day. You can drink pomegranate juice as well.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
