Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 35-year-old male, and I am 5'09" tall and weigh 79.37 Ibs. I feel that my digestion is very slow for the past 13 years. I am often constipated, and my appetite is bad. I feel nauseous, burp a lot, and find it hard to digest sweets. I tried taking Rabeprazole and enzymes for this problem, but I have not tried taking any medication continuously.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

The probable causes of anorexia, heartburn, and dyspepsia are eating spicy and fried junk foods, excessive smoking and drinking habits, anxiety, Depression., taking NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) or Aspirin excessively, consuming cold drinks, consuming outside food, H.pylori(Helicobacter pylori) infection in the stomach, sleeping immediately after food. Sometimes, it is due to unknown reason.

Ayurvedic medicines work very nicely without creating any other complications. Due to improper digestion of food, the body becomes emaciated and looks sick. Here are some ayurvedic medicines: Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with him or her and start taking the medicines after their consent.

  1. Chitrakadi Vati (Chitraka, Maricha, Pippali) one tablet twice a day.
  2. Kumaryasava (Kumari Rasa, Haritaki, Dhataki flowers) one tablespoon twice a day after meals.
  3. Kamadudha Rasa (Mukta pisti, Pravala pisti, Mukta sukti pisti, Kapardika bhasma), one tablet twice a day.
  4. Avipattikar Churna (Amla, Bibhitaki, Haritaki) 0.11 oz, twice a day.

I suggest you avoid smoking and drinking, if you have the habit and avoid outside food. Eat fiber-rich fruits and vegetables. Do regular yoga and meditation to regulate your body metabolism and appetite.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
