Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am currently on sick leave from work because I feel very weak, tired, and I just wanted to take a rest. I have been scratched by a cat last week and had my antirabies shot and tetanus vaccine. I do not know if what I feel is connected to my vaccination, or is this only in my mind. What should I do?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. Let me help you to my best, albeit remotely. I have noted that you already had your vaccination to protect you. So that is taken care of. There are multiple reasons why someone should feel tired and weak. Please answer the following since how long have you been feeling so? Are your periods normal? Do you feel indifferent to cold in recent times? Has there been a change in your weight? Let me know your answers to suggest accordingly. You do not have to pay for your reply. Take care.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thanks for your reply.

I have been feeling this exhaustion only this week. Yes, I have a regular period every month; I am just waiting for my period this month, next week. I also feel dizzy at times. I do not get it why I am feeling so weird. I feel so hot, but it is normal from 96.8 degree Fahrenheit C to 98.2 degree Fahrenheit upon checking my body temp. I am wondering if this is overfatigue. I am currently on a diet and reducing my daily carb intake and more on water. What can I do not to feel dizzy? Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Thank you. That helps. Considering your age, the first thing that comes to my mind is to rule out anemia. Dizziness can happen in anemia and so weakness and tiredness. Thyroid related causes also are possibilities. Continuous work and exhaustion can be the reasons behind such symptoms. Hydrate yourself well and take adequate rest (at least eight hours of sound sleep). Consult your doctor to see if your hemoglobin is within the normal range. I hope this helps. Take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
