Hi doctor,
I got a pollen and dust allergy before three months. I am using my allergy vaccine regularly but my doctor told me that it takes some time to overcome the symptoms of allergy. I was given medications to get relief from cough and phlegm. But still, I have a cough. After taking medicines, my phlegm seems to be stuck in my head. I have a nasal blockage with high panic pressure on my cheeks. forehead, teeth, and ears. My ears are blocked. I am not taking any medicines now and I am using Nebulizer with saline, Atm, and Clenil. But I do not have any relief. I am getting relief from cough only by taking lemon juice with water. What to do?

According to the symptoms, you have rhinosinusitis. It occurs due to inflammation of the nose and paranasal sinus. The initial symptoms are nasal obstruction. facial pain, cough, earache, nasal discharge, postnasal discharge, hyposmia, disturbed sleep, difficulty in concentrating in work, and dental pain. You can take tablet Amoxicillin 500 mg three times a day for seven days. You can take tablet Levocetirizine 5 mg once daily at night for seven days. You can use nasal spray Furamist (Fluticasone furoate) one puff on each nostril twice daily for two weeks. You need to have steam inhalation two to three times a day. Avoid having dust and allergy.
