Hello doctor,

I have pain and discharge in my right ear. Today I noticed mucus in my nose. What could be the reason? Kindly help.

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query. I understand your concern. As per your clinical history, it appears that you are having a perforation in your right ear drum since childhood and now it developed an infection in your middle ear on the right side. I suggest you to consult your specialist for a thorough examination of the ear and necessary investigations to plan for treatment. If still there is perforation in your right ear drum then need not worry it may be treated easily by operative interventions. I hope this has helped you. Thank you.
