Q. What could be the reason for pain and discharge in the ear and mucus in the nose?

I have pain and discharge in my right ear. Today I noticed mucus in my nose. What could be the reason? Kindly help.

As per your clinical history, it appears that you are having a perforation in your right ear drum since childhood and now it developed an infection in your middle ear on the right side. I suggest you to consult your specialist for a thorough examination of the ear and necessary investigations to plan for treatment.
