Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I feel tired even after taking adequate rest. I have heaviness on the left side of my tummy. I pee frequently and I have slight pain in the back. Please suggest.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. Please mention your age, any other medical condition such as hypertension, diabetes, thyroid problem in you, taking any medication, smoking, or alcohol drinking habit, about your activities, and job. I need this information to evaluate your condition.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I am 30 years old and I have hypertension. I am taking Amlodipine. I do not smoke and drink alcohol rarely. I am an art director in an advertising agency. It requires prolonged sitting. I do a little workout.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Fatigue or being tired even after having eight hours of sleep can be caused due to a lot of conditions such as anemia, hypertension, thyroid, diabetes mellitus, and obstructive sleep apnea. I recommend you to check your CBC (complete blood count), lipid profile, FBS (fasting blood sugar), and thyroid functions. It is quite common to have back pain among people who have prolonged sitting activities. It is good to stand up for every thirty minutes of sitting and for every thirty minutes of standing, you need to sit down. I can prescribe you pain medication for the pain but physiotherapy is highly required in your condition. In the meantime, you can take vitamins C, D, E, ferrous sulfate, and zinc supplements daily and apply Indomethacin gel on the affected region presenting with pain.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
