I have recently changed my diet and sleeping habits, and due to my job in prison, my stress levels have escalated dramatically. I have had tiredness, short-term memory, concentration issues, sleeping issues, feelings of dis-reality, etc. It seems as though brain fog is caused by inflammation. I have had blood tests and an MRI showing all normal results. As a result of short-term memory issues, I have had several panic attacks and feelings of depression. I changed my routine to exercising and sleeping healthy, but the fog remained. It is starting to feel hopeless. Is there an amount of time before the inflammation dissipates? I have also changed my diet and started supplements such as fish oil and turmeric. Is there anything further that could help? I also started therapy, but I genuinely think depression and anxiety come from inflammation.
