Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

When I was 10 weeks pregnant, it was found out to be an ectopic pregnancy. I did get a surgery or shot, because my hCG was decreasing on its own. I kept on doing blood test every 48 hours. When my hCG was 5, I started spotting. After two days, I started bleeding heavily. I am wondering if this is my first cycle after an ectopic pregnancy or something else. I am bleeding with clots for the past 10 days.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

As per the hCG report (human chorionic gonadotropin), the ectopic is getting resolved (attachment removed to protect patient identity). But, the cause of bleeding should be ruled out. Please get yourself checked by a gynecologist and also get a pelvic scan done to rule out the exact cause. Usually, the bleeding post ectopic should always be evaluated. So, please get back to your gynecologist immediately.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
