Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I just noticed I have a painless pea-sized lump just below my armpit. I am not currently ill and otherwise feel fine. What is it?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

  1. Actually, it is an enlarged lymph node as per your description. It is a normal phenomenon of enlargement if there is any skin infection on the same side or ingrowing nail.
  2. Your body is protecting you from an infection and trying to kill the organism by trapping it in the lymph node and clear it from your body. Usually, it vanishes in a couple of days.
  3. If it worsens, you should go to the doctor, in person.

Wish you healthy life.
