Epididymis Inflammation

Epididymis inflammation is otherwise known as epididymitis. It is a condition that occurs with inflammation, swelling, and irritation on the epididymis. It often occurs in males between the age of 14 to 35 years. Gonorrhea, chlamydia, prostate infection, and viral infections can cause epididymitis. The symptoms are swollen scrotum, painful urination, penile discharge, and blood in the semen. It is treated by rest, lying down with scrotum elevation, and applying cold packs.
