I am a 28-year-old male. I have symptoms of ED for the past one week. I am currently on Probiotics, Vitamin D, and Metamucil. Kindly help with my problem.

Usually, at the age of 28, erectile dysfunction is due to psychological causes, mainly stress in most cases. Other less likely causes are secondary to chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, etc. Rarely it is related to pelvic surgery or trauma. In some situations, it is due to the side effects of antihypertensive or antidepressant medications. Treatment depends on the cause, and if you are passing through stressful situations, you will be back to normal once these situations pass. Regular exercise is advised. Regular smoking can cause erectile dysfunction, but smoking for a short period should not have a problem. I think stress is the main cause of your problem. Once you get out of this stress, then recovery is a role. It takes only a few days to recover, and you will be back to normal soon as you are still young.
