Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have done two blood checks (the second one on day three of menstruating). It showed estradiol of 73.4 and FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) of 7.5. My general physician said this was a problem, but I could not do much. However, I can send you the results if needed. I am 30 years old and in good health. Can you explain it to me and tell me if I can do anything as I am worried?

As I said, I can also send you a copy of the results.

Thank you so much.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

You have not given your detailed gynecology, obstetric, medical, and drug history. However, I have seen your reports in which estradiol is low, which should be high, and Fsh is high, which should be low.

Have you been observing regular periods?

It is better to take serum antiMullerian hormone test and collect the LH (leutinising hormone) report to discuss it fully with the gynecologist and endocrinologist. You need a detailed evaluation, as I do not have your complete history, but a high FSH (follicle stimulating hormone)showing that you are in the premenopausal period if the report is not wrong.

Do serum antiMullerian hormone, serum progesterone, serum testosterone, and thyroid function test on day two of periods. Collect LH (leutinising hormone) report and start oral contraceptive pills for two months to have regular cycles and a better feeling of a healthy reproductive system.

Eat a healthy diet, 0.4 milligrams of folic acid, walk and exercise regularly, and adopt healthy recreational activities.

I hope this helps.

Thank you and take care.
