Common "Faulty Breastfeeding Technique" queries answered by top doctors | iCliniq

Faulty Breastfeeding Technique

A baby should get its feeding in a good feeding position. During feeding, the baby will latch deeply on the breast so that milk moves forward from the breast to its mouth. The common breastfeeding techniques are licking, sucking movements, rooting, bobbing head against the mattress, and squawking. Faulty breastfeeding technique causes difficulty in latching, coordinate sucking, swallowing, and breathing.
