Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had a handjob done by a massage lady using a lotion. She touched her vagina for a few seconds and later used the same hand for my handjob. As there could be vaginal fluid on her hand, can it pose a risk of HIV transmission?

Kindly advise.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for consulting us. I understand your concern and would be happy to help. There is no risk of HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) transmission with this mode of sexual activity. Even though she touched her vagina, as her hands were soaked in the lotion, the risk is almost nil. So there is nothing to worry about.

I hope this helps.

Feel free to revert in case of further questions.

Thank you.
