Patient's Query

Hi!

I'm a 27 year old female. I've had a high fever of 39 degrees celsius, malaise, and red eyes for 4 days. My fever stopped after taking Paracetomol, but I experienced pain after in my right knee and ankle, which disappeared after one day. An itchy red rash appeared on my arms and legs and body 2 days after the fever ended. I don't eat as much as I used to. I have headache and nausea sometimes. I don't have a cough. I don't have any known food or drug allergies or significant current medications. I stayed at home for this whole time and slept for most of the day for the past week. One of my family members was sick with something similar recently.

good day to you ma'am I have gone through your issue any things you might be suffering from an acute febrile illness. this can vary from dengue malaria chikungunya to mild upper respiratory tract infections. I would advise you to get one test known as complete blood count done which will give us a clear Idea as to what you are suffering from.

you have tried Paracetamol and I think the fever comes down with paracetamol but we are not treating the infection with paracetamol. therefore the complete blood count will give me an indication if I need to start antibiotics. do you get the test done soon and let me know the results so I can start the antibiotics for you which I think I very much necessary for you now. do let me know how it goes maam. have a good day
