Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have the urge to pee frequently with signs of blood in the urine. I have pain in the lower abdomen along with it. Please suggest.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. The urge to urinate again after urination can occur due to symptoms associated with different issues like diabetes. It can also occur due to infection affecting the urinary tract and due to the mass that compressing the nerves on that area. Sometimes an accidental injury can cause these symptoms. You can undergo urine routine and microscopic examination, CBC (complete blood count), fasting blood sugar, postprandial blood sugar, and ultrasound of the lower abdomen. After doing these tests, you can consult a nephrologist or urologist for getting a definitive diagnosis. A complete physical examination is needed to be done. Once the underlying cause is identified, then you can take appropriate treatment. You can share the test results by having a follow-up.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
