Hello doctor,
I have GAD, BPD, and panic disorder. I was staying at home during the pandemic and it is almost three years now, and I need to go back to the office next week. Unfortunately, I still feel overwhelmed whenever I go out or ride public transportation vehicles.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Thank you for taking help from a psychiatrist. I can understand your situation and COVID have changed so many lives. There is worsened and precipitated mental illness due to COVID. You need to push yourself to come out of it. You have to move into the routine life. You should spend 30 minutes daily in the early morning and evening outside your home. Just go for fun so it will reduce your anxiety. You must start doing meditation daily. It will help you to calm down. You must stay away from alcohol. Take enough sleep and stay in contact with friends. If possible go out and meet your dearest friends. Be bold and confident. Eat good and healthy food. If you have any symptoms persisted then you need to start medication as you have taken past. You can wait for four weeks till you start your medication. I hope that you get it. Move out of your comfort zone and enjoy a beautiful life.
Thank you.
