Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had taken tablet Ipruprofen for six weeks for dental pain. I had gastric issues before that were not very serious. However, for the last ten days, I have had pain in my lower stomach on the left side. I have taken medications for the same, but I am experiencing extreme bloating, lack of appetite, and energy loss.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern and would be happy to help.

You have gastritis due to the tablet Ibuprofen. I suggest the below treatment plan for seven days:

  • Capsule Pan D (Pantoprazole and Domperidone) one on an empty stomach.
  • Syrup Ulgel A (Magaldrate, Simethicone, and Oxetacaine) 10 ml thrice daily.
  • Tablet Buscopan (Hyoscine Butylbromide) twice daily.

Consult a specialist doctor, talk to him or her, and then start the treatment. I also suggest you avoid painkillers and take a simple and easily digestible diet for a few weeks.

I hope this helps.

Kindly follow up after three days.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
