Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My penis is bruised, and I am feeling very uncomfortable. It hurts when I touch it. When I pulled the foreskin down, there was a wart on the rim. When I put a tissue over it, there was some red pus on the tissue. The foreskin is usually tight. Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Please provide me with more details. Let me know the answers to the below questions.

1. Do you feel pain over the lesion?

2. Do you have any pain in the groin?

3. Do you have any discharge from the penis?

4. Do you have any history of unprotected high-risk sexual intercourse?

5. Do you have any issues like diabetes or treatment for any chronic disease?

6. Since how many days have you been seeing this?

7. How did the lesion develop?

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thanks for your reply.

It is hurting in the region where warts are present. There is no pain in the groin. The penis is ejaculating normally. Yes, I have had unprotected intercourse in the past. I used to do it a lot. I do not have diabetes or any other chronic disease. The foreskin has been tight for almost two years now. I do have PPP as well, but I have been told that is not a major issue. Please help.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

From the picture (attachment removed to protect the patient’s identity) and the history you provided, the lesion is most likely due to herpes virus infection (herpes genitalis). This should be treated properly. Visit a doctor in person for confirmation of diagnosis. I suggest you abstain from sex for at least a couple of weeks and use condom during sex till you are better. For herpes, I suggest you to take tablet Acyclovir 400 mg three times a day for at least a week. Also, please increase water intake to at least three liters per day for quick recovery.

I hope this helps.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
