Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

When I eat food, after some time, I feel that food is coming back into my mouth. I have taken many medications for it but I have not got any relief. Why so?

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to iCliniq.com.

I went through your query and understood your concern.

It seems you have Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). So, I suggest you follow the instructions mentioned below.

1. Take a combination of Pantoprazole (antacid) and Domperidone (antiemetic) for acid reflux.

2. Take a soft and bland diet.

3. Put a pillow below your head when you sleep.

4. Make a habit to walk after all meals.

5. Avoid alcohol and smoking.

6. Always brush before you sleep.

Kindly consult a specialist, talk with them, and take medicines with their consent.

I hope this has helped you.

Thanks and regards.
