Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Five days back, I got three of my wisdom teeth removed. I feel that my right lower gum is torn and is still hurting. I do not know what to do.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

We are here to help you.

I understand your concern.

As it has been only five days and you have got three teeth removed, it is normal to feel a burning sensation and pain in certain areas.

Complete healing takes at least three weeks. For the time being, you can do warm saline gargles five to six times a day for five days. This will take care of the gum healing.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.
