Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 19 years old. I am experiencing hair fall for the past two to three months. I took Creatine monohydrate for bodybuilding for two months. My hair is falling from the root. Most of the time, I have a white bulb at the end.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

There are multiple causes to have hair loss and it depends on your pattern. Increased shedding of hair with more than 50 per day occurs due to stress, water change, nutritional deficiencies, high fever like dengue or malaria or typhoid, certain medications, harsh shampoos, and dandruff. This condition is called telogen effluvium. It gets stabilized within three to four months by taking supplements. In some cases, you may notice thinning of individual hair present more than shedding. It points towards a balding pattern. In this condition, you may require topical Minoxidil. It is used as serum along with other supplements. Avoid consuming whey protein. You can do tests to know your levels of vitamin D, vitamin B12, serum ferritin, and TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone). You can start taking Androfol M (multivitamin tablet) or Follihair (multivitamin tablet) once daily after food. You can use Sls paraben-free shampoo.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
