Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have been facing very much hair fall over the last three months, and I am a patient with hyperthyroidism. I have been taking medication for one year. Three months before, I bought a water purifier because RO is not good for health, so I bought a UV water purifier. Still, I think after that purchase, I am facing a hair fall, and my water TDS is 457 ppm after the purifier.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. The more obvious reason in your case of hair fall is thyroid disorder. Hair loss due to water intake is a rare and unlikely cause. Also, it would have been better to send your scalp picture. Kindly send one. Meanwhile, start following medications. Take Tablet Hairfollic once daily after breakfast. Apply Folliserum on hair roots twice a day. Use AF-K (Ketoconazole and Zinc Pyrithione) shampoo. Do this for one month, and please send a picture of the affected area.
