Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have very thin hair genetically. I used to comb my hair harshly without detangling it. I have medium-wavy hair. Nowadays I am facing hair fall while combing. I need to know whether I need a protein supplement or not because my nails are brittle when it is long and I have iron deficiency.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query. It seems to be due to a deficiency of vitamins and minerals, lack of exercise, lack of proper sleep, and poor nutritious food. Alone medicines will not work permanently. I suggest you to follow a few instructions mentioned below.

  1. Do yoga and pranayam regularly.
  2. Go for walks regularly.
  3. Take dates, beetroot, jaggery, and green leafy vegetables regularly.
  4. Take dry fruits regularly.
  5. Take tablet VB 7 hair (Biotin, Vitamins, Minerals) 1 per day.
  6. Take a tablet of Ostocalcium plus (Vitamin D3), one twice daily.
  7. Take the tablet Fersoft Z (Cyanocobalamin, Ferrous Fumarateonce, Magnesium Oxide) daily for 12 weeks.

Consult a specialist, talk to them, and take medications with their consent.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
