Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have had headaches and continuous body pain for the past three days.

Kindly help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. Your symptoms are most likely due to migraine, which causes severe headaches, mainly on one side, that last for a few hours (up to 72 hours) and may be associated with other features like limb numbness, nausea, photophobia, and other symptoms.

The other possible causes include the following:

1. Cluster headache (with eye tears).

2. Glaucoma (with eye pain).

3. Secondary to more severe conditions like meningitis.

Please provide me with the following details to reach the appropriate diagnosis:

1. Do you have a fever, nausea, or neck stiffness?

2. Do you have redness in the eyes?

3. Any muscle weakness?

4. When was the first time you experienced this type of headache?

I suggest tablet Paracetamol 1000 mg tablet for the headache. (Consult your specialist doctor, talk to them and take medications with their consent).

Follow-up is required to confirm the diagnosis and to exclude any severe conditions.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
