Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My father suffered from heart problems and was admitted to the hospital. My father's heart has 75 % blocked, so he was not eligible for the operation. Instead, they prescribed some medicines and told him to follow a diet to lose weight. My father's major issues are breathing and gas problems. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

According to the reports (attachment removed to protect patient's identity), your father had a heart attack (inferior wall myocardial infarction). As you said, there is 75% blockage, but you did not send the angiography report. If it is done, please send it. Angioplasty should be done if there is a 75 % blockage in one or more heart arteries. If your father does not have chest pain, another test called a myocardial perfusion scan should be done for viability. If there is viable heart tissue, then angioplasty is a must. Angioplasty can safely be done if indicated. Please send me the angiography report so that I may guide you more further. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
